What We Do
Casella invests in on- and off-site processing equipment in order to recover the most value from food waste and other organics. One example of this is de-packaging, which separates food and beverage from packaging to maximize recovery and plays a key role in Casella’s recovery of close to 450,000 tons of organics each year. Through methods such as composting, anaerobic digestion, or land application, these organic wastes are renewed as resources and businesses become more sustainable.
