MCC’s Mechatronics Program
MECHATRONICS JUMPSTART PROGRAM:
11 weeks of instructor led skills training.
The MCC Mechatronics Jumpstart program explores the principles of electrical-mechanical and computer control used in automated manufacturing.
The Mechatronics Jumpstart program enables participants to gain skills in:
- Mechanical technology: hydraulics & pneumatics, system layout and mechanical print interpretation
- Electrical/Electronics: AC/DC theory & application, programmable logic controls (PLC)
- Computer application skills
Students will participate in a paid co-op with a regional employer and will acquire the critical skills needed to gain employment in an industry related career.
Upon program completion, participants will earn college credit that can be used towards an MCC credential.
